About this scholarship

What you get

Whilst studying an engineering degree in the Czech Republic, you will receive a monthly stipend from Bosch as well as a paid work placement with the company. The amount of the stipend depends on your stage of study.

  • University students: to 160 euros per month (from 4,000 CZK), a paid work placement of 160 hours per year, and priority access to Bosch student events.
  • Technical secondary-school students: a monthly payment (from 1,000 CZK) depending on grades, a meal allowance of around 28 EUR (700 CZK), 70% of the costs for school activities, as well as a paid three-week summer work placement.

Both degree programmes enable you to work in your field of study whilst you’re still studying, and can lead to a job at Bosch once you’ve graduated.

Who can apply

  • Level: You are attending a technical secondary school (SŠ) or a technical university (VŠ) in the Czech Republic.
  • Field: You are studying mechanical engineering, computer science or electrical engineering.
  • Language (university students): A good command of English or German is an advantage, but not a requirement.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

Please contact the programme coordinator and send your CV. You will then go through a selection process.

How realistic are your chances?

This is a corporate scholarship linked to future employment at Bosch. It is aimed exclusively at students of technical disciplines such as mechanical engineering, computer science or electrical engineering. Due to this narrow focus, the pool of applicants is small; so if your degree subject is a good fit and you have good grades, your chances are good. A good command of English or German is an advantage for university studies.
