What you get

You get a one-off tuition fee discount of about 2,600 to 3,800 EUR (£2,200 to £3,200), depending on your home country. It applies when you start a full-time postgraduate taught master's (a taught course, not a research degree) at the University of Bradford in England. The amount is set by nationality: about 3,800 EUR (£3,200) for Nepal; about 3,200 EUR (£2,700) for Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Nigeria; about 2,900 EUR (£2,450) for India and Ghana; and about 2,600 EUR (£2,200) for all other eligible countries. The university created it to mark its 60th anniversary.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You are starting a taught master's course, not a research degree.
• Where you study: You enrol full-time and on-campus at the University of Bradford.
• Field of study: Any taught master's subject qualifies.
• Nationality: You are a non-UK international student. This is decided by your nationality, not where you live, and covers over 160 countries.
• Who pays your fees: You pay for your own studies. Students on discounted partnership programmes do not qualify.
• New students only: You are a new starter. This includes students moving up from a UBIC Pre-Masters course (a preparation year run by the university's international college).

How to apply

There is no separate application. If you meet the criteria, the discount is added to your tuition fees automatically when you enrol.

How realistic are your chances?

Your chances are excellent. There is no competition and no cap on the number of awards. If you fit the rules, a self-funded, non-UK new starter on a full-time on-campus taught master's, you get the discount automatically on enrolment.
