Global Excellence Scholarship (University of Dundee)

You get a tuition-fee discount of about 8,700 EUR per year (£7,500) for a Bachelor's degree at the University of Dundee in Scotland. It runs for up to five years, so the total can reach roughly 43,500 EUR (£37,500). The money is not paid to you directly. It comes straight off your tuition bill. On the 3.5-year Business programme, the discount only applies in years where you pay the full fee. The award comes from the University of Dundee and is aimed at international students who pay the higher international tuition rate.

Who can apply

• Degree level: You have an offer for a full-time, on-campus Bachelor's programme at the University of Dundee.
• Field of study: All subjects count except Medicine and Dentistry. You cannot apply if you enter through International College Dundee.
• Fee status: Your offer letter classes you as an international fee-paying student.
• Nationality: Open to students from anywhere outside the UK who hold international fee status.
• Grades: You have AAB at A-Level or an equivalent international qualification. For the Graduate Entry LLB you need a UK First Class degree or equivalent.
• Tuition fee: Your programme's fee is £21,800 or more.
• Proof of results: You must submit your final grades. Predicted grades are not enough to confirm the award.

How to apply

There is no separate form. The university checks your eligibility automatically from your programme application when it makes you an offer. The deadline is 28 August 2026 for September 2026 entry, and 30 January 2027 (23:59 UK time) for January 2027 entry.

How realistic are your chances?

This award goes automatically to every international applicant who meets the criteria, so it is not a contest for a fixed number of places. If you hold an offer for an eligible programme, meet the AAB grade standard, and prove your final results, you get the discount. The main things that could rule you out are a fee below £21,800, a Medicine or Dentistry place, or full funding from another scholarship.
