About this scholarship
What the LVMH Scholarships give you
These scholarships pay towards your course fees and living costs while you study fashion at Central Saint Martins, part of the University of the Arts London (UAL). There are two tracks. The BA Fashion scholarship is worth about EUR 53,600 in total (£46,500), roughly EUR 17,900 (£15,500) per year for the length of your degree, not counting the placement year. The MA Fashion scholarship is worth about EUR 17,900 in total (£15,500), split as about EUR 10,700 (£9,300) in year one and about EUR 7,150 (£6,200) in year two. Two students are chosen per year for each track. The money comes from the fashion group LVMH and is paid in instalments each term.
Who can apply
- Course: You are starting the first year of the full-time BA Fashion or MA Fashion course at Central Saint Martins, UAL.
- Nationality: Open to both UK and international students.
- Financial need: Your household income is no more than about EUR 115,000 (£100,000) per year, and you are in genuine financial hardship.
- Talent: You show original creative talent and the drive to succeed in fashion, judged on your portfolio.
- Sustainability: You use your creativity to tackle environmental problems and can show how you build social and ecological values into your work.
How to apply
You apply through the UAL student portal. You upload proof of your household income, recent bank statements and a portfolio (one PDF, up to 15 pages). Your financial need is checked first. A panel then judges your creative work, and shortlisted applicants are invited to an interview. For the MA Fashion round (October 2026 start), the deadline is 23:55 UK time on Sunday 6 September 2026. Late or incomplete applications are not accepted.
How realistic are your chances?
This is tightly targeted: only two places per course each year, and you must already be starting at one specific London college in a specific course. That keeps the eligible group small, but those who fit are strong applicants competing for very few spots. If you have a standout portfolio, a clear sustainability focus and can show real financial need, you have a genuine shot. Expect strong competition and apply as early as the round opens.
