Scholarships for foreign European Master students (ULiège)

You get 500 EUR per month, paid 10 times over a study year, while you do a Master's at the Université de Liège in Belgium. On a two-year Master you get the money again in the second year, as long as you pass the first. You also get one return flight per year between Belgium and your home country: up to 300 EUR for neighbouring countries, the United Kingdom and Spain, and up to 600 EUR for other countries. The university awards around 20 of these scholarships each year.

Who can apply

• Degree: You are starting a Master's or an additional Master's programme at the Université de Liège.
• Enrolment: You study full time.
• Field of study: Any subject is fine.
• Nationality: You are a national of a European country.
• No prior ULiège degree: You have not already done a regular degree at the Université de Liège. An Erasmus or exchange stay there is fine and does not count against you.
• Recent qualification: You finished the degree that qualifies you for this Master no more than 3 years before you apply.
• Erasmus bonus: If you have already done an Erasmus exchange at the Université de Liège, you have better chances.

How to apply

First apply for the scholarship. Then enrol at the Université de Liège as a full-time student and pay your tuition fees. The scholarship is paid out after that. You can apply until 1 June or 20 August.
