About this scholarship
What the WOP-P scholarship gives you
You will receive 1,000 EUR per month to cover your living costs for the full two years (up to 24 months) of this joint Master’s programme in Work, Organisational and Personnel Psychology. In addition, the scholarship covers your tuition fees and study costs: up to 4,500 EUR per year if you are from an EU or programme country, or up to 9,000 EUR per year if you are from a partner country. You will also receive a flat-rate travel allowance of between 1,000 and 3,000 EUR per year, depending on your place of residence. Students from partner countries will receive a one-off installation grant of 1,000 EUR. The degree programme is a two-year, 120 ECTS programme funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ programme. It is run by a consortium of higher education institutions led by the University of Valencia, with partners in Spain, Italy, Portugal, the USA and Brazil. Please note: You will not receive a monthly living allowance for the time you spend in your own country of residence.
Who can apply
- Degree: You hold a degree in psychology (a 3-, 4- or 5-year Bachelor’s degree). If you have a degree in another subject, at least 50% of your credits must have been earned in the fields of psychology or methodology and statistics.
- Commitment: You can complete the entire two-year course on a full-time basis.
- English: You have a command of English at level B2 (upper intermediate) or higher.
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities, from both EU and non-EU countries.
- No double funding: You have not previously received an Erasmus Mundus Master’s or joint PhD scholarship, and you will not combine this scholarship with any other EU-funded grant for the same degree programme.
Your grades, any relevant work experience and your motivation will also be taken into account during the selection process.
How to apply
You apply online via the WOP-P portal and enrol at the University of Valencia. For the 2026–2028 round, the application deadline for both the Master’s programme and the scholarship is from 14. April to 10 May 2026. Each applicant will be invited to an interview and assessed on their knowledge of psychology. If you miss the interview, you will be excluded from the selection process. Decisions will be announced from 2026 June.
How realistic are your chances?
This scholarship is aimed exclusively at psychology students and involves a compulsory academic interview, meaning that the pool of applicants is limited to those who are genuinely suited to this field and can demonstrate their English language skills and academic results. If you have a sound knowledge of psychology and prepare thoroughly for the interview, your chances are good. This is a prestigious Erasmus Mundus scholarship with a fixed number of funded places, so competition is fierce. Apply within the scholarship application period and do not wait until the later deadline, which applies only to Master’s students.
