What you get

In the first year of a new degree programme at University College Birmingham (UCB), you will receive a 25% or 20% discount on your tuition fees. The amount of the discount depends on your grades: 25% if you completed your previous UCB degree with a 1st Class Honours (or the equivalent in the International Foundation Diploma), and 20% for all other results. The discount applies to international (foreign) student tuition fees and is valid only for your first year. UCB offers this discount to its own former students who are progressing to a higher-level degree programme.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are studying at University College Birmingham in the UK.
• Your history with UCB: You have already completed your studies at UCB and are now progressing to a higher-level programme, for example from the ‘International Foundation Diploma’ to a Bachelor’s degree programme, or from a Bachelor’s degree programme to a Master’s degree programme.
• Fee status: You are an international student paying international student fees.
• Field of study: Any subject.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Marketing agreement: You agree to provide testimonials on request, to feature in case studies or to take part in UCB’s marketing activities.

How to apply

You do not need to submit an application. UCB applies the discount automatically when you register.
