About this scholarship
General Description
The J Pat Murphy C.M., PhD, Bursary Fund is available annually to full and part-time students who are enrolled in the MA Management programme offered at All Hallows College. Prospective students who have received an offer are also eligible to apply. The Bursary Committee will select one or more students from a pool of students to award the total amount of €3,000, which is matched against tuition costs and is offered in small payment amounts or as a lump sum according to the Bursary’s selection. The awarded amount will be divided among suitable applicants. The bursary will last for the entire programme which usually runs between one and two years. In addition to specific requirements, financial need is taken into consideration when selecting suitable applicants.
Requirements
Only prospective and existing students who are enrolled in the MA Management programme can apply. Additionally, these students must have experience working in the non-profit sector. And they must demonstrate suitable leadership skills. Selection will be based on information contained in the application form, the applicants’ CVs, their motivation statement, along with their non-profit sector experience and references.
