Province of Tyrol - Major Literature Grants

General Description

The Land Tirol provides two grants to support authors through the process of creating a literary work. Successful candidates will receive 15.000 Euro, of which 12.000 Euro will be paid shortly after the winners are announced, and the remaining 3.000 upon completion of the work, which has to be finished within two years. The competition is divided into two categories: Drama (for theatre and radio plays) and Narrative Prose.

Requirements

Candidates must be citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland who have written literary works, theatre plays, radio plays or screenplays which have been published, publicly performed, broadcasted or filmed. They must submit a literary project which should include a sample of finished work (at least 20 pages for the Narrative Prose category, or two theatre scenes for the Drama category).
