About this scholarship

Benefit

You get a tuition waiver of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% on the standard tuition and fees at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. A waiver means the university drops that share of your fees. Which level you get depends on your family's financial situation. The university checks applications starting from the largest waiver and works down until the money runs out, then assigns the level that fits your circumstances. The waiver covers your first year. You can renew it each year for the standard length of your degree, as long as you collect enough exam credits (ECTS) each year. You can hold only one of these benefits per academic year.

Eligibility

  • Where you study: You are enrolling at Bocconi University in Milan.
  • Study level: You are starting the first year of a Bachelor's degree or the Law programme in the 2027-28 academic year. The HEC-Bocconi Double Program also counts.
  • Nationality: You are an international student. Italian applicants have a separate scheme.
  • Field of study: Any Bachelor or Law subject at Bocconi.
  • Financial need: The university checks your family's income and assets. Families in tighter situations get priority. Meeting the basic conditions does not guarantee an award.

How to apply

First complete your enrolment. Then submit one online application, "Bocconi4Access to Education a.y. 2027-2028", through the MyApplication portal. Application windows depend on your admission round and run from November 2026 to early June 2027. Results come roughly ten weeks after each deadline. Priority goes to applicants with the clearest financial need and the most complete documents.

How realistic are your chances?

The university hands out waivers until the budget is used up, and part of the money comes from donations, so the pot varies year to year. The largest waivers go first to the families with the greatest need, so a full 100% waiver is competitive. A smaller 20% or 40% reduction is more attainable. Apply in an early round and document your finances carefully, since that decides both whether you get support and how much.
