Vietnam Postgraduate Scholarship (NTU)

You get about EUR 5,800 (£5,000) off your first-year tuition fees for a full-time Master's degree at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in England. The award is a tuition fee reduction applied once you enrol, not cash paid to you. NTU offers it as one of its Country and School Scholarships, awarded competitively based on the strength of your application.

Who can apply

• Nationality: You are from Vietnam and count as an international student for fee purposes.
• Level: You have an offer for a full-time taught Master's course at NTU. Research degrees do not count.
• Grades: You hold a four-year Bachelor's degree with a CGPA of 6.7/10 (or 2.6/4) or higher.
• Study year: You are starting the first year of a new course at NTU, not continuing into a later year.
• No double funding: An employer, government or sponsor is not already paying your fees. If you hold another NTU or external award, the combined support cannot exceed 50% of your first-year fees.
• Course: Some courses are excluded, for example the LLM BTC and LPC, part-time MSc Human Resource Management, MA Social Work and PGCE courses.

How to apply

Once you have an offer, you fill in a single online form that covers every scholarship you qualify for. It includes a scholarship essay, which must be your own work with no AI-generated content. For a January 2027 start, applications open in September 2026. The first deadline is 30 September 2026 and the final deadline is 31 October 2026 at 16:00 GMT. You hear the result within five weeks of the deadline you applied by.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is open only to Vietnamese applicants starting a taught Master's at one university, so the field is far smaller than for open scholarships. Since it is judged on the strength of your application, a well-written essay and grades clearly above the 6.7/10 minimum decide it. If you fit the criteria and apply by the earlier deadline, your prospects are good.
