You will also be provided with free on-campus accommodation or, if no place is available in student halls of residence, a housing allowance of CNY 700 per month. You will be covered by health insurance for international students. On arrival, you will receive a one-off settlement allowance of CNY 1,500 for study programmes lasting one academic year or longer, or CNY 1,000 for shorter programmes. You will also receive a one-off travel allowance to cover the journey from your point of entry into China to your university. Your international airfares to and from China will not be covered, unless otherwise provided for by a bilateral agreement between the countries.
