University of Bath - Professor Frank Wallace Scholarship

Benefit

You will receive a discount of one-off 5,800 EUR (5,000 GBP) on your tuition fees for a one-year Master’s degree (MSc) at University of Bath in the UK. This is a one-off discount on your fees, not a monthly payment. The University of Bath awards this scholarship in memory of Professor Frank Wallace, a mechanical engineer who taught there. One scholarship is awarded each year.

Eligibility

• Where you study: You’re studying at the University of Bath in the UK.
• Level: You are starting a Master’s degree (MSc).
• Course: You are enrolled on the Master’s programme in ‘Automotive Engineering with Business Administration’ or the Master’s programme in ‘Automotive Engineering with Electric Propulsion’.
• Nationality: You come from the People’s Republic of China.
• Your offer: You have already received an offer for one of these degree programmes and have accepted it unconditionally, regardless of whether it is a conditional or unconditional offer.

How to apply

First, please accept your offer of a place at university. You should then complete the university’s scholarship application form via the online ‘Application Tracker’. You will be asked to answer three short questions. Selection is based on your application; there is no interview. The application deadline was 8 April.

How realistic are your chances?

This award is very strictly defined: only students from China who are enrolled on two specific Master’s programmes in automotive engineering and have already received an offer from the University of Bath are eligible to apply. This means that the pool of eligible candidates remains small. As only one scholarship is awarded each year, competition amongst those who meet the criteria is fierce. If you clearly meet all the criteria and submit a compelling application in good time, your chances are good.
