About this scholarship

What you get

You get a reduction on your tuition fees at IÉSEG School of Management in Lille or Paris, France. It is awarded automatically when you are admitted. There are three types of reduction, and they can be combined:

  • Merit-based: up to 25% off for the Bachelor in International Business and the Grande École Program, or up to 30% off for Specialized Masters such as the Master in International Business. It is based on your whole application: grades, motivation, activities, and GMAT/GRE scores if you have them.
  • Early bird: 10% off if you apply before the early deadline for your programme.
  • Partner: 10% off if you come from one of IÉSEG's partner universities.

Combined, the reductions can reach up to 35% for Grande École Program candidates who meet several criteria. For context, tuition is EUR 12,100 per year for the Bachelor, EUR 14,900 in the first year of the Grande École Program, and EUR 18,800 to EUR 21,800 for the Master in International Business.

Who can apply

  • Programme: You are applying to an IÉSEG degree as an international candidate: the Bachelor in International Business, the Grande École Program, or a Specialized Master like the MIB.
  • Qualification: You have the right diploma for your programme. For example, a secondary school diploma for the Bachelor or Grande École Program, or a Bachelor's degree in any field for a Master.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply, both EU and non-EU students.
  • English: You can prove good English, for example IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85 or Duolingo 115. You are exempt if you are a native speaker or studied two years in English.
  • Income: Your income does not matter. All three reductions reward merit and early application, not financial need.

How to apply

You apply online at candidate.ieseg.fr. There is no separate scholarship form, because the reduction is decided together with your admission. Admission is rolling and starts each October, and you get a decision about two weeks after your application is complete. Apply in the first sessions to secure the extra 10% early-bird reduction. Early-bird deadlines fall around February or March, depending on the programme.

How realistic are your chances?

The early-bird and partner reductions are close to automatic if you fit: apply early, or come from a partner university, and the 10% is yours. The merit-based part is competitive and depends on how strong your grades and profile are against other applicants. But even a modest merit award stacks on top of the others. Applying in the first sessions is the simplest way to lock in a reduction.
