About this scholarship
Benefit
You get around 12,000 DKK per year (about 1,600 EUR) to attend a Danish folk high school (hoejskole), a boarding school for adults that offers broad general and personal education without exams. The scholarship comes from a memorial fund run by Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (MS ActionAid Denmark), a Danish development organisation. It honours folk high school director Johannes Novrup, one of its early founders.
Eligibility
- Who it is for: You are an international student who is currently attending, or will soon be attending, a Danish folk high school (Højskole).
- Where you study: You study at a hoejskole in Denmark.
- Field of study: Any subject.
- Nationality: Applications are open to all countries. Preference will be given to students from developing countries and Eastern Europe.
- Who submits it: Your folk high school applies for you, not you directly.
How to apply
Your folk high school applies for you to the fund, run by Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke (MS ActionAid Denmark) in Copenhagen. The deadline is 20 March.
