About this scholarship

NTU International Scholarship

You will receive a one-off payment of about 2,300 EUR (GBP 2,000) for the first year of your full-time undergraduate degree at Nottingham Trent University in the UK. This payment will be applied as a reduction in your tuition fees. NTU offers this support to help offset the higher tuition fees that students from non-EU countries are required to pay.

Who can apply

  • Degree level: You are starting a full-time degree programme at undergraduate level (Bachelor’s).
  • University: You’re studying at Nottingham Trent University in the UK.
  • Where you're from: You are a student from a non-EU country and pay tuition fees for international students.
  • Offer: You have already been offered a place at NTU.
  • Field of study: Open to all subjects.
  • Age and nationality: There is no age limit, and applicants who are non-EU nationals are welcome to apply.

How to apply

Once you have received an offer from NTU, please complete the separate scholarship application form. There are several rounds of assessment throughout the year, with deadlines on 30 November, 28 February and 30 April; the final deadline is 30 June. Applications received before the respective deadline will be assessed in the following month.

How realistic are your chances?

The eligibility criteria are broad: any non-EU student on a Bachelor’s degree programme who has been admitted to NTU is eligible to apply, regardless of their field of study, meaning that many students meet the basic requirements. This is a flat-rate fee reduction rather than an individual prize awarded on a competitive basis. Your best chance of success is to apply early, within one of the earlier application deadlines, rather than waiting until June.
