About this scholarship

What InnoEnergy Masters+ gives you

You get a full or partial waiver of the tuition fee for this two-year European energy master's. You study at two leading European universities and earn two accredited diplomas. A full waiver removes the whole annual fee: 9,000 EUR per year if you are from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, and 19,000 EUR per year for everyone else. If you are from outside the EU, you can also get a partial waiver. The Energy Impact waiver cuts 4,000 EUR per year, leaving 15,000 EUR. The Diversity, Entrepreneurship or Digital Champions waiver cuts 5,000 EUR per year, leaving 14,000 EUR. Alongside the degree you get an industry internship, a business and entrepreneurship track with Esade Business School, and access to InnoEnergy's network of energy companies, investors and former students. The programme is run by the iSE Foundation. The waiver covers tuition only, not living costs, housing or insurance.

Who can apply

  • Degree: You have a completed Bachelor's worth at least 180 ECTS credits, or an equivalent degree from a recognised university. If you are in your final Bachelor's year, you can get a conditional offer.
  • Field of study: You come from an engineering or science background that matches your chosen master's, such as mechanical, electrical, chemical or energy engineering, physics, computer science or data science. Some tracks need a minimum average grade (for example 70% or 75%).
  • English: You meet the English requirement. For most universities this is IELTS Academic 6.5 with no section below 5.5. Some universities ask for more.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply. Your fee band and waiver options depend on whether you are from the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, or from elsewhere.
  • For the profile-based waivers: You pick ONE route and show you fit it: a background that adds diversity to your year group, proven entrepreneurial experience (with evidence), or digital skills applied to energy and sustainability.

How to apply

You apply online for a Masters+ programme in one of five rounds between 21 September 2026 and 30 May 2027, for the autumn 2027 start. There is no application fee. The Energy Impact waiver needs no separate application, because every applicant is considered automatically. For the Diversity, Entrepreneurship or Digital Champions waiver, you choose one route and submit a short motivation video. If you apply on the entrepreneurship route, you also add proof of your experience.

How realistic are your chances?

Places are limited: three full Energy Impact waivers per programme and twelve full profile-based waivers across all programmes, so full waivers are genuinely competitive. Your strongest lever is fit. A clear engineering or science background that matches your chosen track, plus a convincing case for one of the profile routes, narrows the field in your favour. Applying in an early round helps, because decisions are final and places fill as rounds progress.
