GMAT Scholarships at Alba Graduate Business School

You will receive a discount of 40% cut on your total tuition fees on the entire programme if you can demonstrate a good GMAT result. The GMAT is a standardised entrance test for business studies programmes. If you achieve a score of 645 or higher in the GMAT Focus Edition, the discount of 40% applies to all MBA or MSc programmes at Alba, with the exception of the Executive MBA and the Dual-Degree MSc programme in Supply Chain Management. If your GMAT score is high but below 645, you may still be eligible for a smaller discount. The discount is offered by Alba Graduate Business School, which is part of the American College of Greece in Athens, and applies for the entire duration of your programme.

Who can apply

• Programme: You are applying for an MBA or MSc programme at Alba. The Executive MBA and the MSc programme leading to a dual degree in Supply Chain Management are excluded from this.
• GMAT score: You have a valid GMAT score from the Focus Edition. If your score is 645 or higher, you will receive the full discount of 40%; if your score is high but below 645, you will receive a smaller discount.
• Nationality: Open to all nationalities. As an international student, you are entitled to a reduction of up to 20% on your tuition fees even without a GMAT result; if your score is 645 or higher, this reduction increases to 40%.
• Field of study: Covers all of Alba’s specialist areas, including finance, marketing, management, shipping management and strategic human resources.

How to apply

You apply online via the ACG portal for financial support and submit your GMAT result along with your application. There is no fixed application deadline. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and Alba may approve the scholarship in advance, even before you apply for admission.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not a competitive award with a limited number of places. Rather, it is a fixed tuition fee discount linked to a specific score. If you achieve a score of 645 or higher in the GMAT Focus Edition and enrol on an eligible degree programme, you will receive a discount of 40%. The biggest hurdle is the exam itself, so your prospects depend on how well you perform.
