About this scholarship
What you get
You receive a yearly scholarship from the Campania regional student-aid authority (ADiSURC), the public body in southern Italy that funds university students. The amount depends on your family income (measured by the ISEE, Italy's standard income and assets indicator) and on where you live. For the lowest income band it runs up to 7,655 EUR per year if you live near your university, down to about 1,430 EUR per year for students on the highest eligible income band who study far from home. The grant is tax-free.
Top-ups can raise it further: +40% if you have a recognised disability, +20% for women in STEM subjects, +20% if you are enrolled in two degrees at once, and +50% if you graduate within the standard length of your course. With the same application you can also request a place in a university residence and, for study periods abroad, an extra mobility grant.
Who can apply
- University: You study (or are about to enrol) at a public university, art academy or music conservatory in the Campania region, such as Federico II or the University of Salerno.
- Level: You are on a bachelor's, single-cycle, master's, PhD or vocational post-graduate course, or a first- or second-level academic degree at a conservatory or art academy.
- Field of study: All subjects qualify, except certain medical specialisation courses.
- Income: Your University ISEE is at most 25,500 EUR and your ISPE (assets indicator) at most 54,000 EUR.
- Grades and progress: First-year students need no credits when applying, but must earn at least 20 ECTS credits by the following August. Later years need a set number of credits per year.
- Study stage: You have not already earned a degree of the same level, and you are still within the funded time limit for your course (for example up to the 7th semester of a three-year bachelor's).
- Nationality: Italian, EU and non-EU citizens, stateless people and political refugees can all apply. There is no age limit.
How to apply
You apply online through ADiSURC's student portal. For the 2026/2027 year the deadline is 12:00 on 10 September 2026. There is no interview: awards are decided by ranking, and results are published in provisional, definitive and final lists.
How realistic are your chances?
This is regional student aid based on income and academic progress, not a competition for a handful of prizes. If your ISEE is within the limits and you meet the credit requirements, your prospects are good. Awards are granted by ranking within the region's budget, so lower-income applicants come first and the money can run out. Apply on time and make sure your ISEE documents are in order to secure your place in the ranking.
